When I first started cooking I had only one seasoning in my pantry:  Oregano.  No matter what I made for dinner, it had oregano in it.  I quickly learned that the spice of cooking, just as in life, is in it’s variety.  Now my pantry hosts an abundance of spices and seasonings that I enjoy mixing and melding.   Please join me as I write and photograph about food, gardening, and the spice of life.

PS  Technically, oregano is an herb as it is derived from the leaves of a plant.  However, for the sake of metaphor, I used spice.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal precession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.   2 Corinthians 2:14 (NIV)

  1. Hi. First, let me say I do not check my email box frequently enough. If I had, I would have seen your kind note and responded MUCH sooner. Thank you for linking to my blog. I’m glad you are enjoying BlogHer and Project Underblog, too.

You have a lovely site. Oregano is one third of the Italian trinity, you know. At least that’s what my aunts tell me. So glad you reached out and made the connection.
